The EU guarantee notice, in all 24 languages.
From 27 September 2026 every trader selling goods to consumers in the European Union must show a harmonised notice about the legal guarantee of conformity before the customer buys. This plugin puts it on your pages in the official design, in whichever of the 24 EU languages the shopper is reading, and adds the GARAN durability label on the products where it genuinely applies.
It applies to you, whatever size your shop is.
The rules come from Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960, which carries out the Empowering Consumers directive. Article 3 says plainly: “It shall apply from 27 September 2026.” There is no threshold and no exemption for small shops. If you sell physical goods to consumers in the EU, the notice is required.
The notice is mandatory
It tells the shopper that goods sold in the EU carry a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years. Every trader selling goods has to show it, with no conditions attached.
The label is conditional
The GARAN durability label may only appear where the producer gives a guarantee longer than two years, free of charge, covering the whole product. All three at once, or not at all.
The wording is fixed
Annex I note 1 is explicit: none of the elements of the harmonised notice can be edited. So there is no “customise the text” setting here, and there never will be.
What the plugin does

- Shows the GARAN durability label from Annex II, switched off by default and off per product until you turn it on, because the plugin cannot know what guarantee a producer offers and guessing would put a false claim about the goods on your shop
- Both QR codes, pointing at the correct Your Europe pages, generated in advance and bundled so nothing is fetched at page load
- Four places to put the notice on the product page, plus a shortcode for themes that do not use the standard WooCommerce hooks
- An option to repeat the notice on the cart page, and to include it in order confirmation emails
- Per product fields for the guarantee length in years, the brand or trademark, and the model identifier
- A countdown to the date, and a count of how many of your products are already carrying the notice
- Nothing about your shop or your customers leaves your server.
The settings screen counts down to the date, shows how much of your catalogue is covered, and renders the notice with the same code your product pages use, so what you see there is what shoppers get.
Pro watches that it is still there
A compliance plugin fails quietly. A theme update, a page builder or a caching layer can stop the notice rendering and nothing anywhere tells you. The store is then non-compliant and looks exactly the same as before. Two more things that go wrong at the checkout
