EU Guarantee Notice Pro

Add-on for WooCommerce

The notice is only working while it is on the page.

The free plugin puts the legal guarantee notice on your product pages. This one fetches a real page every day and emails you the moment it stops appearing.

$49 a year, one site. Cancel whenever you like.

Compliance that silently stopped

From 27 September 2026 every trader selling goods to EU consumers has to show the harmonised notice about the legal guarantee of conformity, before the customer buys. You installed the plugin, you saw it appear, and you moved on. Nothing tells you if it stops.

A real page, every day

A live product page is fetched the way a shopper would see it, and checked for the notice. Not a database check, the actual rendered page.

An email the day it breaks

A theme update or a page builder can stop the notice rendering and the shop carries on selling as if nothing happened. You hear about it that day, not months later.

A dated record

Every check is kept with its date and result, so if anyone ever asks when your pages were compliant you have an answer rather than a memory.

The notice itself is free and always will be. Your shop is compliant without paying anything. This is only the watching.

Installing it

Install the free plugin. EU Guarantee Notice for WooCommerce is on WordPress.org and renders the notice. This add-on needs it.
Buy above and download the zip. It arrives by email with your receipt.
Upload it under Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin. Activate it.
Paste your licence key. It is in the same receipt email. A box appears on the Plugins screen. This is what puts new versions in your own Updates screen, the way any other plugin does.
The check history appears in the Monitoring panel on the screen you already use. The first check runs within a day.

Questions

Why is this not on WordPress.org with the free plugin?

WordPress.org requires hosted plugins to be free and fully functional, with nothing locked behind a licence. That is a rule I agree with, so the paid features are not in the free plugin at all. They live here instead.

Does the free plugin stop working without this?

No. The notice is what makes your shop compliant and it is free, complete, and always will be. This only watches it.

What happens if I stop paying?

The plugin keeps working. It is never locked or switched off. You stop getting updates and support. Deactivate it and the daily check simply stops; the notice itself carries on.

What is the licence key for?

Updates. Once it is pasted in, new versions show up in your normal WordPress Updates screen and install with one click. Without it the plugin still runs, you would just have to download a new zip by hand each time.

Does it slow my site down?

No. One page is fetched once a day on a scheduled job. Nothing runs while a shopper is browsing.

Does anything leave my site?

The request that fetches your own public product page, the same one any visitor makes. Plus one call a day to stackedboost.com asking whether a newer version exists, which sends your licence key and your site address. No customer data is involved in either.

Find out the day it breaks, not months later

One site, a year of updates, and a daily check on the page the regulation applies to.
