These terms govern your use of Figma Automations for monday.com (“the app”), provided by Stackedboost (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them.

What the app does

The app connects a Figma file to a monday.com item. New comments on a linked Figma file are delivered to your monday.com board, and a monday.com automation can post a comment back to that file. That is the whole of it.

What you need

  • A monday.com account with permission to install apps and create automations.
  • A Figma account with access to the files you link. Any Figma plan works, including the free one.
  • Authority to connect the Figma account you use.

Plans and payment

Billing is handled entirely by monday.com. We never see or store your payment details.

  • Free — one linked Figma file.
  • Standard — up to ten linked Figma files.
  • Pro — unlimited linked files, plus the action that posts comments back to Figma.

Plans are per monday.com account, not per user. Upgrades take effect immediately. If you cancel, paid features stop and the free tier keeps working. Refunds follow monday.com’s marketplace refund policy.

Delivery timing

Comments are checked on a schedule, so delivery is typically within five minutes rather than instant. This is deliberate: it is what allows the app to work on Figma’s free plan, where the alternative approach requires a paid Figma team. The app is not suitable if you need real-time delivery.

Known behaviour, so it is not a surprise. Comments that already existed when you create an automation are never delivered, so your board is not flooded with a file’s whole history. Resolving a comment in Figma does not trigger delivery. If monday.com cannot be reached, delivery is retried rather than dropped.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to break Figma’s or monday.com’s terms, to access files you are not entitled to, to send unlawful or abusive content, or to attempt to circumvent plan limits. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability

We aim to keep the app running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. It depends on Figma’s and monday.com’s APIs, which may change or be unavailable for reasons outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to adapt to such changes promptly.

Your data

Covered by our Privacy Policy. In summary: the app stores an encrypted Figma token, a few identifiers and a timestamp. It never stores the contents of your designs, and never retains comment text.

Intellectual property

The app and its documentation remain our property. Your Figma files, your monday.com data and your comments remain entirely yours. Nothing here grants us any right to your content beyond what is needed to perform the function you configured.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, arising from use of the app.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending it

Uninstall the app from monday.com at any time. Doing so stops all access and removes your stored data as described in the Privacy Policy. You can also revoke the app’s access directly in your Figma account settings at any time, which takes effect immediately.

We may end service with reasonable notice, or immediately for a breach of the acceptable use section above.

Changes

If these terms change materially we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify account admins by email. Continued use after a change means acceptance of it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and the Swedish courts have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer rights you have under the law of your own country.
