This policy covers Figma Automations for monday.com (“the app”), operated by Stackedboost. It describes exactly what the app stores, what it does not, and how to remove it.

The short version. The app stores the minimum needed to connect one Figma file to one monday.com item: an access token, a few identifiers, and a timestamp. It never stores the contents of your designs, and never stores the text of your Figma comments. Comments are read, passed to monday.com, and not retained.

What the app never stores

  • The contents of your Figma designs. The app does not request access to file contents, and cannot read them.
  • The text of your comments. Comments are read from Figma, passed to monday.com, and discarded. Only the comment’s ID is kept, and only so it is not delivered twice.
  • Figma variables, dev resources, library assets, or your project list. None of these permissions are requested.
  • Payment details. Billing is handled entirely by monday.com; the app never sees card data.

Permissions the app requests from Figma

Four, one per function:

  • current_user:read — to show which Figma account is connected
  • file_metadata:read — to read the name of a file you have linked
  • file_comments:read — to detect new comments on files you have linked
  • file_comments:write — to post a reply, only when you configure that action

The app only ever accesses files that somebody has explicitly linked by pasting that file’s URL into a monday.com automation.

Where data is held

The app runs on monday code, monday.com’s own hosting platform, and all data is stored in monday.com’s infrastructure using their encrypted storage. Nothing is stored on Stackedboost servers, and no data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

Who it is shared with

Nobody. Data moves only between your Figma account, the app, and your monday.com account. There are no analytics trackers, no advertising networks, and no third-party processors beyond Figma and monday.com themselves.

Deleting your data

  • Delete an automation and the file key, timestamp and comment IDs for it are removed.
  • Uninstall the app from monday.com and the stored Figma token, your Figma handle and email, and your plan record are removed.
  • Revoke access in Figma at any time from your Figma account settings, which immediately stops all access regardless of anything stored.

To request deletion manually, or to ask what is held about you, email admin@stackedboost.com and we will respond within two business days.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact us at the address above and we will action it within one month, usually far sooner.

Children

The app is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change and the previous version will be available on request. Continued use after a change means acceptance of it.
