PetLift is built to collect as little as possible. This page explains exactly what that means, and is specific about the one thing that does leave your device.
Your photos never leave your device
When you choose a photo, PetLift reads it, removes the background using Apple’s on-device Vision framework, and saves the result in a private container on your iPhone. That processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos and the cut-outs are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
Deleting a pet inside PetLift, or deleting the app, removes the stored image from your device. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
No account, no analytics, no advertising
PetLift has no account and no sign-up. We do not know who you are. There is no advertising in the app, no analytics library, and no tracking of you across other apps or websites.
The one exception: purchases
PetLift offers a single one-time purchase. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store, and we never see your payment details.
To keep track of whether that unlock has been bought, PetLift uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. When you buy or restore, RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt and an anonymous identifier it generates for your installation. That identifier is not your name, your email or your Apple ID, and it is not used to track you anywhere else.
This is the only part of PetLift that talks to a server. Nothing about your pets, your photos or your settings is included.

PetLift is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date.
